Westwood Charter School
Mrs. Garbus' third grade class is very special. In addition to the expected math, spelling and reading, these students learn about animals and nature. They care for many in classroom pets, including goats, rabbits, chickens, turtles and a tarantula. The children clean, feed and comfort the animals as part of their educational curriculum. Dr. Cauble was happy to attend the the routine medical needs, nail trims and vaccinations while showing the students fun facts about the animals.
